So Whats the deal with medical marijuana in Florida?

Okay so if you’re like me, you don’t really know what’s going on with the legalization of medical marijuana in Florida, but you are somewhat interested.
One question I have is, what is so bad about it? I also would ask, what’s so good about it lol, I mean seriously though… what’s the big deal right?
The Cons:
Slumped on Pressure
I always look at the pros and cons of every situation that I get into, and this helps me to evaluate the situation and to respond effectively. The cons will go first just because, well like my mom always told me, “prepare for the worse…. but hope for the best.” I really do believe that the order of those two phrases is very important, and can affect a person’s mental balance.
One con that I’ve heard of against marijuana is short term memory loss. I would hate to lose portions of my memory at any time. This is one of the things I will strive to understand, I want to know what exactly happens to the memory of marijuana users.
Another con that I can think of is constant disorientation. I read an article not too long ago about when marijuana was legalized in Colorado and there were reports of people coming in high to work and blowing smoke in the faces of children. That seems pretty obscene and dramatic to me- if legalizing marijuana in Florida causes stuff like that to happen, than I think we’ve got to admit that we have a bigger issue lol. But all jokes aside, I wouldn’t want to see my city turned into a smoke cloud- people need to learn how to enjoy their sobriety.
As with any other habit that isn’t properly nurtured and guarded, I suppose the usage of marijuana can become an unhealthy addiction. This would be the same as cigarettes and alcohol but, who needs one more problem on the market that stimulates the mind at the cost of the body.

The Pros:

- To be fair, we must also talk about the benefits of marijuana. I always hear people talk about glaucoma when the benefits of marijuana are being discussed. I also hear people say that it helps to relax the mind and calm the body. Some people even claim to focus better while under the influence of marijuana. So what I will do is study both the pros and the cons and weigh them in the balance. I also want to hit marijuana from a financial aspect because well…. I’m always about the money!

Financial Aspect
If marijuana is legalized it may be a good idea to invest into the stock market now. I assume that stocks on medical marijuana will increase once marijuana is legalized in Florida. I have begun to study investing and the stock market, and this seemed like an interesting place to practice some of the knowledge that I picked up from various stock knowledge books.
Buffet’s Way
As I have been studying investors it became impossible to avoid Warren Buffet. I do not fully understand his style of investing, but from the little that I have picked up from him I will devise a formula.
When Buffet considers buying a share from a company or corporation, he first studies the company. He wants to understand what the company does and how successful they are. He weighs this knowledge upon the current stock market balance and his own personal knowledge of financial trends. When Buffet makes an educated guess, he does so with confidence because he takes the time to read and think on subjects. Using this same line of reasoning, I will study the ethical and economical effects of the legalization of medical and recreational marijuana. If I find myself at the end of this journey – strongly for it, or strongly against it, I will take action.
