Class is in session ladies and germs! (Yeah I started off early making fun of dudes!). Seriously though, this is the first lesson so I’ll take it easy. All I want people to get out of this lesson is a simple tool for living a more successful and productive life. Put your name on all of your papers!!!

The E-Book Story

Okay so I was out this weekend with a friend (who looks pretty good btw- js) and she told me about this PDF document that was going around called “The Triangle of Intelligence”. As those words left her mouth I smiled and looked straight at the floor.

I remembered in that moment that I had forgotten to put my name on the PDF document. I smiled because I thought to myself “wooowww, now good luck trying to convince her that you’re the author.” So I just looked at her and said “yeah I wrote that.”

You could imagine that didn’t go well right?… (The PDF is attached). The Triangle of Intelligence

Power & Consequences

I like to study great minds from all walks of life, from Thubten Chodron to Henry Ford. One thing that I have learned from the well-respected philosopher and theologian, R.C Sproul Sr. is that ideas have power and consequences. This is actually why I was debating putting my name on the PDF version of “The Triangle of Intelligence.” I wanted to see if the idea would gain acceptance in the world before claiming it as my own. Sounds logical right?

Now think about it like this, If I came up with the materials housed within that book, then that book contains some of my memes… or “Mental Genes.” If that book contains some of my memes than that means it is sort of like my kid in a way right? (I know some of you are like whaattttdaaaheckkkbroo, but stay with me for 5 more minutes.) Why not take claim for ideas.. especially in an age where no one has an original thought. I mean it’s so bad that I’ve actually heard people repeat memes from instagram and facebook as if it were their own thought. (If you have done that before and you’re reading this….. well I’m just going to be real… stop doing that!) We need to take our own thoughts back and stop blindly repeating what we hear on TV or read on social media websites, thus the name #ThoughtChasers.

Conclusion and Nugget

Whenever I get around older people that look like they’ve been through some stuff I always make sure I get a nugget from them. For instance I’ll ask an older gentlemen “hey pop, you got any wisdom or advice for me today?” and I know that he’s not going to repeat something that I’ve already read online. A nugget of knowledge can be converted into a nugget of gold if you have the right chemicals to mix it with…. and know how to mix it.  So where’s your nugget today? I’ll try to make sure that you always leave with a nugget; a little life lesson that can be applied today.

Nugget: Value your ideas and the ideas of others. The reason people associate ideas with light bulbs is because- if you can imagine it…. you can create it, let that sink in.

The PDF version of “The Triangle of Intelligence” is free. Email me at ericpersonal2@gmail.com If you have any feedback or questions on it.  Check back with me tomorrow as I review the book Think & Grow Rich By Napoleon Hill. Thank you for your time.. feedback as always welcomed.
